About Me
I’m Ananya Palivela, a science writer with a background in physics and a passion for clear, compelling communication. I hold an integrated master’s degree in physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, and a master’s in science writing from Johns Hopkins University, where I trained to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible narratives.
My writing spans a wide range of formats, including reported articles, research updates, explainer pieces, sponsored content, and social media campaigns. I’ve contributed to outlets such as Science News, Symmetry Magazine, and Astronomy Magazine, and I’ve worked with organizations like the American Institute of Physics and the American Chemical Society to create content that bridges the gap between scientists and the public.
Whether I’m covering fundamental physics, emerging technologies, or the people behind the science, I aim to deliver accuracy, clarity, and impact, without losing the human story at the heart of it all.
